Mobile Collection Point on the World Environment Day, 5 June 2013

The monthly Mobile collection point will be on 5 June 2013, from 8.30 to 14.30 for Ovcha Kupel and Krasno selo administrative regions.

The Mobile point will be placed on 136 “Tzar Boris III” Blvd., near RIEW Sofia.

We will be collecting the following hazardous waste, formed in the households, for free:

  • Mercury and mercury containing appliances
  • Varnish and paint materials
  • Household detergents and chemicals
  • Ink and used printing materials
  • Pharmaceutical products (medicines with expired sell-by date)

On 5th June we mark the World Environment Day. The day has been marked since 1973, according to UN General Assembly Resolution of December 1972. The UN’s aim is to give a human dimension to the problem and to encourage everybody to take some real action towards protecting the Planet.
