National system for household hazardous waste. The first spring campaigns in the municipalities of the country: Veliko Turnovo 13-14 March, Tundzha - 17 March and Sliven - 18 March 2025
Here we are starting the long-awaited campaigns in the municipalities of the National System for 2025! We thank everyone who writes to us or contacts us on the national phone number 0700 11 750.
This campaigns include two of the municipalities with which we initiated the NSOBO and which have made a great contribution to its development – the municipality of Veliko Turnovo and the municipality of Sliven.
Expect the Mobile Collection Point in mid-March, as follows:
Veliko Turnovo Municipality, March 13-14 from 10:00-16:00
13.03.2025 - parking lot near a micro market in the "Buzludzha" district;
14.03.2025 - parking lot on "Simeon Veliki" street opposite the MALL - Veliko Turnovo.
Tundzha Municipality, March 17
We have been working together with Tundzha Municipality since the beginning of 2021 and we are especially pleased to announce that for the first time we are conducting a campaign with a mobile collection point. The point will be located in two of the villages of the municipality:
From 10:00 to 12:45 - Kukorevo village, next to the municipal building;
From 13:15 to 16:00 - Kabile village, next to the municipal building.
Sliven Municipality, March 18 from 10:00-16:00
The mobile point will be located in the city of Sliven, "Georgi Danchev" Blvd., parking lot next to the roundabout, west of the "Vasil Levski" sports hall.
The National system for household hazardous waste is a green service of BalBok Engineering AD for the municipalities in Bulgaria since 2012. It ensures, on a national level, the separate collection of household hazardous waste directly from the generators - households and small businesses and their comprehensive treatment at the sites of BalBok Engineering AD in the most economically efficient manner, in full compliance with environmental legislation.
The separate collection of hazardous waste is carried out according to a schedule by experienced and professionally trained personnel in specialized mobile points, with the possibility of collection on request. This largely guarantees safety for citizens, prevention of pollution and prevention of accidents.
The system provides a national telephone number 0700 11 750 for contact and an information portal for use by the municipalities included in the NSHHW. The beginning of the green service was laid in the Municipality of Sofia, and at the moment, the NSHHW covers over 40 municipalities in the country.
For the creation and implementation of the System, the company was awarded as Innovative Enterprise of the Year in the area "Green Innovation" at the Tenth National Innovation Forum, held in December 2014 in Sofia.
