Save the Planet 2013 – Summary and Statistics

The 4th consecutive Save the Planet International waste management conference and exhibition offered possibilities for exchange of opinions, acquaintance with new technologies and business contacts. The forum for South-East Europe was organized by Via Expo, on 29-31 May2013. BalBok Engineering Co. was presented at the exhibition for a third successful year with company’s own stand. The Eco forum is already well established place for presenting innovative products, making and continuing successful connections and partnerships between investors, specialists, public administration representatives and branch organizations from Europe, Asia and America.
Statistics
148 direct exhibitors took part in this year’s exhibitions including companies from 22 countries (Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria,China,Czech Republic Denmark, Germany, Greece,Hungary, Italy,Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovenia,Spain,Switzerland,Taiwan, Turkeyand the United Kingdom) and presented by 117 companies from Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Finland, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States.
50% were direct foreign exhibitors and for 36% of the companies it was a consecutive participation.
4845 experts from Bulgaria and 39 other countries (Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom) have visited the exhibition.
53% of them from Sofia, 24% from other towns and 23% from abroad.
The visitors included specialists from different sectors: IT and telecommunications, automatics, architecture, Renewable Energy Association, state / municipal administration, electronics, agriculture, consultations, energy efficiency, recycling, building and construction, transport, tourism, waste management, funding / investment,cellulose and paper, packaging and chemical industries, food industry etc.
