Waste, Containing Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)

The establishments or undertakings, in possession equipment, oil, and other waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are obliged by the Stockholm convention and our national legislation to inventory, marking, and disposal of PCB-containing equipment and waste, in order to protect the human health and the environment from PCB-pollution. Activities with this kind of waste are subject to permit requirements.
BalBok’s permit include collection, transportation, repackaging and storage pending disposal of waste with code 13 01 01*, 13 03 01*, 15 02 02*, 16 02 09* and 17 09 02*.
The PCB-waste is further sent to designated fully licensed European facility where state-of-the-art technology is applied. Transportation strictly follows the ADR and IMDG requirements.
