The early campaigns in April: Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Samokov and Dupnitsa

At the very beginning of April (the period 1-8 April) are the spring campaigns in four municipalities of the country: Blagoevgrad – 1-2 April, Kyustendil – 6 April, Samokov – 7 April and Dupnitsa – 8 April 2026
The main groups of hazardous waste generated in households are accepted free of charge:
• Mercury and mercury-containing devices (mercury thermometers, switches and the like)
• Lacquers and painting materials
• Household preparations and chemicals
• Inks and contaminated packaging
• Pharmaceutical products (expired medicines)
Expect the Mobile Collection Point at the beginning of April as follows:
Blagoevgrad Municipality, 1-2 April 2026
The location of the mobile collection point:
01.04.2026 from 10.00 to 12.30 at the address: Blagoevgrad, St. Ivan Rilski Street and Macedonia Square, next to the building of the Blagoevgrad Chamber Opera; and from 13.00 to 16.00 at the address: Blagoevgrad, Elenovo District, Georgi Andreychin Street, in the area of the parking lot in front of the supermarket.
02.04.2026 from 10.00 to 12.30 at the address: Blagoevgrad, West District, in the area of the parking lot in front of the car wash; and from 13.00 to 16.00 at the address: Blagoevgrad, Strumsko District, "Osvobozhdenie" Street, in the area of the parking lot in front of the Stomi supermarket.
The summer campaign in the municipality of Blagoevgrad is on 6-7 July, and the autumn campaign is on 12-13 October.
Kyustendil Municipality, 6 April 2026 from 10:00-16:00
The location of the mobile point is in the town of Kyustendil, a separate site between Al. Dimitrov Street, 6-ti septemvri Street and Petar Beron Street (Circus Square).
Kyustendil Municipality joined the NHHW Collection System at the beginning of 2024 and is conducting a very successful campaigns. This year again, there will be three campaigns for the collection of household hazardous waste in the municipality. The summer one is on 7 July and the autumn campaign – on 23 September.
Municipality of Samokov, 7 April 2026 from 10.00-16.00
You will find the mobile point in the town of Samokov, at Zahari Zograf Square.
Samokov Municipality also joined the NSOBO in 2024. This year, there will be two campaigns in the municipality. The autumn one is on 30 October.
Municipality of Dupnitsa, 8 April 2026 from 10.00-16.00
The mobile point will be located in Dupnitsa, "Khan Asparuh" street (next to the Lidl garden).
