BalBok Engineering AD has successfully accomplished project in the frame of Programme Area BG 10 – Green Industry Innovation

In the end of April 2016 "BalBok Engineering" AD has successfully accomplished project "Eco-innovative system for management of waste with unknown composition and origin in Bulgaria", supported by a grant from Norway through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, in the frame of Programme Area BG 10– Green Industry Innovation.
Programme Operator is the state agency "Innovation Norway" to the Norwegian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Fisheries. The financial support is in the amount of 370000 euros.
The project was accomplished in 10 months with the following outputs:
- Central Chemical Laboratory in Stara Zagora, equipped for qualitative and quantitative analysis of waste samples;
- A Mobile laboratory equipped for sampling and on-site analysis;
- Manual for waste identification;

Information system.
The Eco-innovative system will serve all waste holders in the country and is now an integral part of the waste treatment service offered by the company.
"BalBok Engineering" AD is an established company in the field of hazardous waste management and with extensive experience in innovation. The Company was awarded an Innovative Enterprise of the Year 2014 - Area "Green Innovation" at the Tenth Innovation Forum, held in December 2014 in Sofia.
For the successful accomplishment of the project contributed the Norwegian partner - Mepex Consult AS, a company with over 20 years of experience in the field of environmental protection and waste management.
At the official opening of the Central chemical laboratory in Stara Zagora, held on 25 May 2016, Norwegian representatives were present.
