The long-awaited summer campaign in the municipality of Varna will be held from 23-26 June 2021

The long-awaited summer campaign for collection of hazardous waste from households in the municipality of Varna is in the usual time in June.

The campaign is four days long and will take place from 23-26June 2021.


The mobile point will be located in Varna as follows:

June 23, 2021 - from 09:00 to 12:45 hours at the address: Primorski District, Chataldja Market, the parking lot on Tsar Asen Street and from 13:45 to 17:30 hours at the address: Primorski, Vinitsa district, the former market opposite the Macau store;

June 24, 2021 - from 09:00 to 12:45 hours at the address: Asparuhovo District, the market on Moryashka Street and from 13:45 to 17:30 hours at the address: Odessos District, Lavrentiy Square and Kosta Tyulev Street;

June 25, 2021 - from 09:00 to 12:45 hours at the address: Mladost district, the parking lot next to the gas station on Vyara Street opposite bl. 138 and from 13:45 to 17:30 hours at the address: Vladislav Varnenchik district, the parking lot next to Supermarket 5, opposite block 302;

June 26, 2021 - from 09:00 to 14:00 hours at the address: the building of the Municipality of Varna, next to the barrier near Osmi Primorski Polk Blvd.

The following hazardous waste generated by households will be accepted free of charge:

• Mercury and devices containing mercury (mercury thermometers, switches and the like)

• Varnishes and paints

• Household detergents and chemicals

• Inks and contaminated packaging

• Pharmaceutical products (expired medicines)

 

The organized collection of hazardous waste from households started in January 2012 with the System of Sofia Municipality and BalBok Engineering AD. In 2014, with the inclusion of municipalities from the country, the National System for Collection of Hazardous Waste from Households was launched, which is constantly growing and currently benefits over 2.5 million inhabitants.
