Spring campaign for collection of hazardous waste from the households in Sofia, 19-21 April

The Mobile Collection Point – part of the three day spring campaign for collection of hazardous waste from the households - will be on 19th, 20th and 21st April and will cover three municipal regions: “Izgrev”, “Oborishte” and “Mladost”.

There will be collection of the following hazardous waste for free:

  • Mercury and mercury containing appliances
  • Varnish and paint materials
  • Household detergents and chemicals
  • Ink and used printing materials
  • Pharmaceutical products (medicines with expired sell-by date)

 

The Mobile Point will be placed from 8.30 – 14.30 hours, as follows:

“Oborishte” region

19.04.2018 (Thursday) – “Yanko Sakazov” Blvd., the entrance of “Zaimov” park, opposite to “Vasil Aprilov” Street.

“Izgrev”region

20.04.2018 (Friday) – Dianabath, the corner of Vasil Kalchev and Vladimir Trendafilov Streets, in front of T Market store.

“Mladost” region  

21.04.2018 (Saturday) in Mladost 1, Andrei Saharov Blvd., the parking in front of CHINA CITY store, between bl. 44 and bl. 45

The System for collection of hazardous waste from the households is a result of the joint efforts of Sofia Municipality and BalBok Engineering AD and is successfully applied in Sofia for a seventh consecutive year.
