The spring campaign in the municipality of Sliven is on 19 March

The traditional spring campaign in the Municipality of Sliven in 2024 is a one-day event and will be held on 19 March from 10:00 to 16:00 hours.
The mobile point will be located at the NEW (from 2023) address:
Sliven, "Georgi Danchev" blvd., parking lot next to the roundabout, west of "Vasil Levski" sports hall.

Sliven is one of the first municipalities in Bulgaria that joined the National System for collection of household hazardous waste and made a significant contribution to its development.
The second campaign in the municipality for this year is on 17 October, also a one day.
The following hazardous waste generated by households will be accepted free of charge:
• Mercury and equipment containing mercury (mercury thermometers, circuit breakers, etc.)
• Lacquers and painting materials
• Household preparations and chemicals
• Inks and contaminated packaging
• Pharmaceutical products (expired medicines)
We will give you further information about the campaigns until the end of March.
The organized collection of hazardous waste from households started in January 2012 with the System of Balbok Engineering in the Municipality of Sofia. In 2014, with the inclusion of municipalities from the country, the beginning of the National System for Hazardous Household Waste was launched, which is constantly growing and to date more than 2.5 million residents benefit from it.
