Sofia Municipality and BalBok Engineering: Time for detox

Sofia Municipality and BalBok Engineering will be involved with a joint initiative in the forthcoming European Week for Waste Reduction, which takes place from 17-25 November. Thematic Focus for 2018 is Preventing Hazardous Waste: Time for detox!
The event will be held on November 23 (Friday) and will start with a Mobile collection point located in front of the Sofia Inspectorate on 5, Parizh Street.
The citizens will have another opportunity this month to visit the collection point, hand over their waste, ask questions and get the necessary information from 8:30 to 10:30 hours.
After 10.30 hours, hazardous waste will be collected from addresses of citizens, based on pre-received requests.
We expect the Sofia citizens to be active! Dangerous household waste poses a greater risk to our health and our environment than other types of waste. We all know how important it is to reduce the use of dangerous products, and to make sure that they are properly discarded.

The System for collection of hazardous waste from households, resulting from the joint efforts of Sofia Municipality and BalBok Engineering AD, has been successfully applied on the territory of the Municipality for the seventh consecutive year.
