At the height of autumn campaigns for household hazardous waste in municipalities around the country

2017-10-25

Since 2014, BalBok is applying the System for Collection of Hazardous Waste from households on the territory of municipalities around the country as well.
This month we are at the height of autumn campaigns - in addition to the three-day campaign in Sofia, we organize, in the period 5-27 October together with the municipalities included in the National System for separate collection and disposal of household hazardous  waste, campaigns in Veliko Turnovo, Bansko , Gotze Delchev, Sliven, Sredetz and Plovdiv.

The following hazardous waste generated by households is collected free of charge:

  • Mercury and mercury containing appliances
  • Varnish and paint materials
  • Household detergents and chemicals
  • Ink and used printing materials
  • Pharmaceutical products (medicines with expired sell-by date)

The Veliko Turnovo campaign (5-6 October) went very successfully - we thank all those who visited the mobile point and handed over their hazardous waste!
