Establishment of Alumni Club of the Graduates and Friends of the "G S Rakovski" Military Academy

The leadership of the Military Academy invited all its alumni, who gathered on 31.01.2018. from 16.00 hours in the "Tarzhestvena" Hall of the Academy for the establishment of the "Alumni Club of the Graduates and Friends of the G S Rakovski Military Academy". Members of the Military Academy, lecturers and friends can become members of the club.
The club aims to develop and promote fruitful relationships between former and current alumni and friends of the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski ", as well as between them and the Academy in the face of the leadership and the teaching staff. Leading was the desire to preserve a sense of pride and sympathy for the spirit of the Academy and the promotion of its prestige.
The event was opened by the head of the Academy, Major General Grudi Angelov. In his address Atanas Zapryanov, the Deputy Minister of Defense underlined that the establishment of the club is a highly patriotic initiative. Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Andrei Bocev said the creation of the Club is a common cause through which the alumni and friends of the Academy will share their experience. A greeting address was read by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The present founders adopted the Statute and elected the Club's Management and Control Board. Chairman of the Management Board is Col. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tashkov - Deputy Head of the Military Academy.
Dr. Ralitsa Anguelova, executive director of BalBok Engineering AD, was among the founders. Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski and BalBok have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Collaborative Activity for a period of ten years (2012-2022), in the following main directions: educational activity, scientific research, consultancy, information activity, laboratory work, applied activity.
