This week we successfully completed two projects for cleaning of old warehouses with banned pesticides

BalBok Engineering AD successfully completed this week two projects for cleaning old warehouses for old and banned pesticides– in the municipalities of Dolna Mitropoliya and Lovech. The company has been carrying out activities with old and banned pesticides for more than 20 years - the first permit for the territory of the whole country is No.: RO-17/18.05.1999.

The current permitting documents of BalBok Engineering AD allow hazardous waste to be repackaged and prepared for treatment on-site on the basis of permits issued by all RIEW in Bulgaria and then transported to the company's own licensed sites for subsequent storage and treatment. The company has a state-of-the-art chemical laboratory that performs the necessary analyses and identification of waste, including of unknown composition and origin.

So far, BalBok's teams have treated over 12,000 tons of hazardous waste and in the last 10 years alone more than 5,000 tonnes of hazardous waste, including pesticides and other plant protection products, waste containing polychlorinated biphenyls, mercury, acids, alkalis, cyanides, laboratory chemicals, etc. generated by industry or households have been exported from our country to our partner treatment plants in EU.
